Dempseys has two floors. The lower floor serves food and plays host to weekly events such as karaoke and quiz night. After 9pm the upstairs bar opens, which includes a dance floor and pool room. Club open every night of the week from 9pm. Karaoke, Cheap drinks offers, Open 365 days a year. 11 Years running.

the price
Sunday to Thursday - Members with card £3. Members without card £4, Friday and Saturday - Members with card £4. Members without card £5.
Dempsey's Bar and Club is not open to non-members. However, guests may be admitted if accompanied by a member. This will be at the discretion of door staff as priority will always be given to members. Cost of entry to non-members will be £5.00 (Sun to Thu) and £6 (Fri and Sat).
Membership will cost £6 (including the cost of entry).

I've been here far too many times and I Feel dirty and ashamed. But if you want a gay bar in Sheff you have no choice. Maybe one or two of the staff are nice but the rest are just horrible. horrible to look at, even worse when they speak. Bar flies and little queens, that's what you'll find at dempseys. Everything about it has seen better days.. I don't know what else to say without ripping it apart.
best thing: without it we wouldn't have a gay bar in Sheffield
