Bradford Pride is a celebration of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans rights.
The Annual Pride event is organised by volunteers, a community based event and is funded through donations and fundraising.
Bradford Pride provides an opportunity for people who are beginning their journey of “coming out” as LGBT, in addition to those who just want to celebrate their identity. Also, Pride provides an occasion for people who are not familiar with the LGBT community to come along and enjoy the day, thereby promoting good relations between the LGBT community and the wider Bradford community as a whole.
It is estimated that approx. 10,000 people came to the square throughout the day at the last Pride, with many travelling from outside of the city.
